Ohio State University Courtside LED Tables Deliver Enhanced Game-Day Presentation
UberDisplays, in collaboration with technology consultants Anthony James Partners (AJP), has completed the installation of new LED sideline tables at The Ohio State University. The custom-built system enhances the visual presentation inside the arena, providing both an impressive on-court aesthetic and new opportunities for dynamic content delivery during games and events.
Project Scope and Highlights
Sideline Tables
The installation includes 30 linear feet of LED sideline tables featuring a 3.9mm pixel pitch. The system is divided into two sections — a 20-foot table on one side of the court and a 10-foot table on the opposite side — delivering a combined total of 442,368 pixels along the floor.
Design and Performance
Each table incorporates custom padding for player safety and requires no protective covering, ensuring a clean, professional appearance that looks great on camera. Built on UberDisplays’ Horizon product line, the tables are fully GenLock compatible, allowing seamless synchronization with broadcast systems.
Reliability and Redundancy
Engineered for performance, the Horizon tables include multiple layers of built-in redundancy, ensuring continued functionality even in the rare event of a hardware failure. The design reflects UberDisplays’ commitment to quality and dependability in high-profile sports environments.
